Sean Blum, MT-BC
Music Therapist
Sean graduated from Augsburg College with degrees in music therapy and psychology. He completed his final clinical internship with Good Samaritan Society Specialty Care Community in Robbinsdale, where he worked with patients in transitional care, as well as long-term residents with degenerative neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s, Huntington’s and Alzheimer’s. He also has experience working with patients in a hospital setting, adults with developmental disabilities, children with varying abilities in mixed classrooms and older adults in an assisted living facility. Sean is an accomplished guitarist, but also finds great joy in playing percussion, piano, electric bass, and voice.
He is passionate about music and enjoys all genres, with an emphasis on classic rock. He is excited to employ his love for music while working with people of all ages and music preferences to develop and learn together through music. |
